WHY MOVEMENTS?

Movements have historically changed the world because they hold a transformative energy and have catalytic impact.

They impact and influence society on every level, initiating social, spiritual and systemic change, and spark imagination and innovation. The church world has in many places drifted and grown institutional and narrow; leadership, pragmatic, program-driven, and platform-based; and the system is not producing and delivering on its promise and potential of world transformation.

What would a collaborative, dynamic, authentic, sacrificial, generative and innovative community of Christlike leaders look like? What different history could a collective of Jesus movements seeking to pursue the great commission of disciple-making and kingdom expansion across the globe, growing to multiple generations, across all geography, all ethnicities & both genders make?

We need to recapture and reimagine the Church as a Jesus-Movement.

mDNA (Movement DNA) are the six core elements of movement dynamics, culture and practice. These are six components present and demonstrated by Jesus movements. As a spiritual foundation and strategic framework, they work together, and all are vital in different ways for movements to spark, scale and sustain. mDNA are areas of latent potential within our organisation, and so can operate as a leverage point for change and a focus for our vision, culture and strategy.
